14 months, The customer, a site developer, has worked with DR Horten (a public multi-million-dollar company) since January 2021. Their business involves buying land, subdividing it into lots, and developing them for DR Horten to build on and sell. When the company was new and had limited lending options, AFG financed equipment, starting the relationship. The owner wanted extra cash on hand for equipment, payroll, and land purchases, and was fine paying the rate for this flexibility. This was their 16th deal with AFG, built on strong trust and a casual, open relationship where the owner can call for anything.

Purpose:

Maintain consistent cash flow to cover weekly payments, ensure funds were available for equipment, payroll, and land purchases, and keep operations running without delays in development or sales.

Challenge:

No significant challenges were present, as the client had a strong track record and reliable payment history. The key focus was ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet weekly obligations without disrupting operations.
