Community
Butler Family Foundation

The Butler Family Foundation was created in memory of William "Big Bill" Nelson Butler. Big Bill started building businesses while in college and later grew several agriculture-related ventures. After earning his business degree, he bought a nursery in West Hartford and expanded it into a floral shop and repair store. Today, the foundation honors his legacy by supporting the charitable causes he cared about.
AFG Involvement: Kyle Denis attended the family charity foundation's annual golf tournament in September and contributed $500 to support local charitable causes and community initiatives.
Veterans
Homeland Heroes Foundation

The Homeland Heroes Foundation supports active-duty service members, veterans, and their families during times of need, helping them regain stability, independence, and a sense of community at home. Their services include providing furniture, household items, new mattresses and box springs, emergency housing assistance, food and gas cards, and seasonal support such as holiday food and Christmas toy drives.
AFG Involvement: AFG sponsored T-shirts for the 2023 Annual Motorcycle Ride in Honor of Captain Ryan Phaneuf. Jeremy's team sponsors Homeland Heroes, with any non-towing deal donating to this association.
Youth Mentoring
Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves youth across New Hampshire, Vermont, and the Chicago metropolitan region through two dedicated chapters. They provide free community-based and site/school-based mentoring for youth ages 6–17, supporting nearly 2,000 children across Cook, DuPage, and Lake Counties.
AFG Involvement: Brij Patel and Brent Hall participated in the 2024 Federated Challenge where a record $4.5 million was raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters. With 105 sponsors and nearly 700 attendees, the event benefited over 135,000 children across the country, including 5,000 in Minnesota.
Housing & Family
New Generation

New Generation in New Hampshire supports pregnant women, single mothers, and their children who are facing homelessness or unstable housing. They offer safe shelter, transitional housing, and long-term stabilization services, helping families move into permanent homes and build financial stability through life skills and employment support.
AFG Involvement: Silver Sponsor for the 4th annual Mulligans for Moms Golf Tournament ($2,590.67). New Generation has provided over 6,100 nights of shelter, helped 106 children escape homelessness, and achieved a 92% first-year housing retention rate.
Youth Services
The Chase Home

The Chase Home provides supportive, trauma-informed residential and family services for at-risk youth in a safe, nurturing environment. Founded in 1877, the organization helps young people and their families heal, grow, and build independence through a range of residential and community-based programs.
AFG Involvement: Mike Harmon sponsored paying for driving lessons for teens who don't have parents or a car, helping them gain independence and life skills.
International Aid
GO Ministries

GO Ministries is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering local leaders in the Dominican Republic and Haiti to transform their communities. Their vision centers on making disciples as God redeems people, renews communities, and restores creation through medical care, church planting, sports, and education.
AFG Involvement: AFG helps support the 2nd annual service trip to the Dominican Republic with GO Ministries. Together, they helped contribute more than $2,000 and donated laptops to GO Medical, enabling them to expand their mission of providing free or extremely low-cost medical care to families.
Industry Giving
Equipment Finance Cares

Equipment Finance Cares is a nonprofit initiative that brings together professionals across the equipment finance industry to support charitable causes, raise awareness about social issues, and strengthen community impact. Through events, fundraising, and industry collaboration, EF Cares highlights foundations and encourages conversations around DEI, mental health, and industry best practices.
AFG Involvement: AFG participated in the 2024 Equipment Finance Cares Charity Golf Outing (2nd Annual Golf Event) and EFC Chicago 2023.
Education
The IEDA Foundation

The IEDA Foundation, established in 2022, is a nonprofit dedicated to closing the skilled workforce gap in the heavy construction equipment industry. Since launching, it has awarded 16 scholarships of $5,000 each to diesel technology students across the U.S.
AFG Involvement: AFG was a 2023 Gold Level Sponsor ($5,000). Foundation leaders personally visit each winner to present the scholarship and congratulate the students, their instructors, and their families.

NEFA Funding Symposium

The NEFA Funding Symposium is the National Equipment Finance Association's key annual conference, bringing together professionals across the equipment finance industry for education, networking, and deal-making.
AFG Involvement: 2023 NEFA Symposium sponsor, helped raise money for National Lymphedema Network and the Indy Foundation.
Healthcare
Tyler Knott Memorial Tournament
The Tyler Knott Memorial Golf Tournament raises money for NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program), helping patients in need of bone marrow transplants find matching donors.
AFG Involvement: Colby Piper, AFG employee and one of Ty's best friends, played in the tournament to honor his memory and support the cause.
Road Safety
Hit While Helping

Hit While Helping attends association meetings across the country and presents to organizations to promote national awareness. Their mission: to turn Keagan's story into change by raising awareness, strengthening Move Over laws, and building a culture of compassion and responsibility on our roads.
AFG Involvement: Jeremy became close friends with Matt (Keagan's father) through business. After the tragic loss of Keagan, Jeremy began supporting the "Slow Down, Move Over" campaign at trade shows with neon shirts featuring the AFG logo. Jeremy donates $40 from every truck/transportation transaction he completes to Hit While Helping, funding travel and outreach efforts nationwide.
